The summer of 2016 I was a digital media intern at DCC Marketing in Decatur, Illinois.​

 

   During my internship, I learned how to write up weekly reports for clients. I also had a few projects. One of the beginning projects was looking to see if client’s websites were mobile friendly.

   The project that took up most of my internship was researching information about top competitors for a client that was launching a new product. I then had to take my research and put it into a powerpoint presentation and present my findings to the executive board of the marketing company and the client.

   After my successful presentation, they had me put research from a different client into a blank powerpoint so some of the employees could start putting together a presentation.

   My last week I worked on a video with the creative department at the marketing company. Since they were just starting the project it didn’t get finished during my internship, therefore I do not have the video to post on this page.
